The lessons we'll learn this Sunday in the story of Jesus healing the Official's son (John 4:43-54) are crucially significant for us to understand while living in this fallen world.  This story of affliction needs to be cataloged in the mind of every believer to be remembered during the inevitable moments of affliction that we will face.

In regards to this particular passage one wise theologian wrote, "Some crosses drive men to Christ, especially in our children.  This was the cross that subdued Egypt; and to great men, such as this ruler, who have much to leave their children, this cross is the greatest."

Also this Sunday we'll discover in this story that there was an important reason behind John sharing with us the account of the Samaritan Woman just a few verses earlier.  With that said, if you need to catch up from serving elsewhere on Sunday morning then just click the links below and take a listen.  I pray these passages bless you as they have me!
