This Sunday we’re beginning a new study over one of the most iconic moments in the Bible! In the book of Exodus, chapter 20, we read about God speaking the 10 commandments to Moses. That moment on Mount Sinai changed the world forever and established a way of life that has shaped God’s people. For the next 10 weeks we’ll be examining each command that by God’s grace we can live by His commands, as His people, still today!

As always, we LOVE to encourage our congregation to read! Below is a list of books that I’m currently reading or thumbing through as I teach this series. Snag one of these for yourself and study along!

Study the 10 commandments with us!

1. The Ten Commandments: What They Mean, Why They Matter, and Why We Should Obey Them (Foundational Tools for Our Faith), by Kevin DeYoung.

2. How Jesus Transforms The Ten Commandments, by Ed Clowney.

3. The Ten Commandments (Annotated, Updated): Reasonable Rules for Life, by Dwight L. Moody.

4. Keeping the Ten Commandments, by J.I. Packer.

5. Written in Stone: The Ten Commandments and Today's Moral Crisis, by Philip Graham Ryken.

6. Words From the Fire: Hearing the Voice of God in the 10 Commandments, by Albert Mohler.

Excited for our time in the 10 Commandments,
