This weekend we'll be jumping head first into our much-anticipated series over Revelation.  I'm both intimidated and thrilled to be teaching through this book of the bible!  This Sunday we'll be covering Revelation 1:1-8 and discussing why it is that this book is to be a blessing to believers.

Revelation Quicklink"Without the last book of the Bible, other parts of Scripture would lose much of their significance.  It is the complement of the book of Genesis which finds its very reason for being in the glory of Revelation.  The Bible would be incomplete were the entrance of sin recorded without its judgement and exit.  Man's ruin is complete in earlier parts of the Scripture; man's redemption is perfect in Revelation." - Donald Barnhouse

Questions we'll discuss in this Sunday's sermon:

1.  What is meant by the "seven spirits" who are before the throne?

2.  Were there only 7 churches in Asia? What of the others?

3.  Why was this book especially a blessing to its first century readers?

Eager to preach this Sunday!
