Calvinism cannot be summed up in it's entirety with 5 points. Nevertheless, the 5 points of Calvinism are critically important to understanding the depths of God's amazing grace as taught in Scripture. No matter if you want to deepen your understanding of these 5 points for growth or refutation (if that's your pleasure), I'd highly recommend this quick, simple 100 page read.

Welcome to Hebrews!
This Sunday we’re starting a new teaching series through the book of Hebrews! There’s always something special about the first Sunday of a new study. Gathering on that first Sunday always renews an excitement in my heart to teach God’s people. However, this weekend feels a little awkward though doesn’t it? Here we sit in a stay-home order that’s sure to last the entire month of April. I don’t like that we can’t physically gather, it’s not ideal. I’m not cut out to be a YouTube-preacher and I miss seeing your faces more than you know. All that being said, I’m no less excited to study through this season together!

Our Church Is About To Let You Down...
Let us not pursue the truth of our imperfections (everyone’s already found that truth) but rather focus on the truth and implications of Christ’s resurrection. It is the latter truth that is the remedy to the former.

Philadelphia, Brotherly Love?
These letters are a chance for us to look in the mirror as a church. We should aspire to that which the churches are commended for, hold fast to the ways in which they are encouraged and search ourselves as we examine each rebuke. The bottom line is that we want a church that pleases Jesus. Rather than be a church that is pronounced "dead" as in Sardis for neglecting the ways of God, may we be diligent to pursue holiness and sound doctrine to the glory of King Jesus.
